Bridge Parish Council formally submitted their Neighbourhood Plan to Canterbury City Council earlier this year. The plan sets out the vision for the future of Bridge until 2033 and sets out policies to help achieve it.
Canterbury City Council was legally required to carry out a consultation with local residents and businesses in Bridge, and also statutory consultees, such as the Environment Agency. This is an important stage of the Bridge Neighbourhood Plan.
Consultation closed on Friday 7 September. The city council will now appoint an independent Examiner who will examine the Bridge Neighbourhood Plan. The Examiner will consider all comments received.
