Changes to bin collections

This Christmas and new year, the day your bins are collected will change.

In addition to this, garden waste collections will end on Christmas Eve and not resume again until March.

Opening times

You can access many of our services online whenever you need to over the festive period.

Our Canterbury office closes at 1pm on Tuesday 24 December and reopens at 8.30am on Thursday 2 January.

Park and Ride

Coming into Canterbury? Avoid the queues and save money on parking by using our fantastic Park and Ride buses.  There will be a Sunday service (10am – 6pm) from all Park and Ride sites on:

  • Sunday 24 November
  • Sunday 1 December
  • Sunday 8 December
  • Sunday 15 December
  • Sunday 22 December

There will also be a bank holiday service (10am  – 6pm) on:

  • Thursday 26 December

All park and ride car parks will be closed on:

  • Wednesday 25 December
  • Wednesday 1 January

It’s panto season!
