We are consulting on a draft Local Lettings Plan for allocating homes in Margaret Court, Herne Bay, and want to hear your views.

Margaret Court is a block of council homes. It is made up of 36 flats intended for people aged 55 or over.

Our Housing Allocations Policy gives us the ability to apply a local lettings policy or plan to a property or group of properties for initial lettings. The aim of this is to widen choice for local people. 

The draft plan sets out how we propose to allocate empty properties in Margaret Court going forward so that we make more effective use of empty homes within the block.
