Draft Shopfront Design Supplementary Planning Document

Draft Shopfront Design Supplementary Planning Document

The council is currently consulting on its draft supplementary planning document for shopfront design and wants to hear your views.

The document is intended to help owners and designers achieve high standards of shopfront design, and take a sensible and sensitive approach to security, signage and materials.

We welcome your comments on this draft document, which once adopted by Canterbury City Council will be a supplementary planning document (SPD). This means that it will be a material planning consideration in decision-making.

Have your say

Let us know what you think by completing our questionnaire by 5pm on Monday 23 March 2020.

The results of the consultation are expected to be reported to councillors in July 2020.
