Draft Events Policy and Implementation Strategy

The council values the contribution that events bring to the area both in terms of community engagement and investment in the local economy.  We are currently consulting on our draft Events Policy and Implementation Strategy and would like to hear your views.

The draft policy and implementation strategy aim to assist the development of local events and the associated decision-making process behind building a varied programme of events for residents and visitors.

The draft policy is aimed at reconciling the interests of all parties involved in order to create a varied and safe programme of events that benefit the district, while the implementation strategy sets out how we plan to deliver against the objectives and principles of the policy.

Have your say

Let us know what you think by completing our questionnaire by Monday 26 November 2018.
