Canterbury

Kingsbrook Park

Double yellow lines are proposed along all of the roads in the Kingsbrook Park development. These roads are going to be adopted by Kent County Council as public roads. This is intended to stop parked cars obstructing the flow of traffic.

The affected roads are Stonebridge Road, Ambleside Place, River Bend Close, River Dance Drive and Westwood Drive.

New 20 minute parking bays are proposed on the northern side of the High Street, outside Herne Bay Tandoori and Roma Pizza. One hour residents parking bays are also proposed outside nos 15 and 17.

The existing one hour residents parking bays on the southern side will be shortened outside nos 16 to 24 to allow traffic to flow. More bays will be added by filling in the gap in the bays opposite Dolphin Street.
