Love to paint?

Help make where we live a colourful place for everyone to enjoy by getting involved with our community mural project!

Join us at 10am on bank holiday Monday (28 May), outside the Snooker Hall, near Canterbury East Station for your chance to paint your own flower or piece of wildlife on the ‘a weed is just a flower in the wrong place’ community mural.

Stick around until 3.30pm when the Lord Mayor of Canterbury will unveil the new mural,  ‘Traveller’s Joy’ by Gloria Tresder. This was the winning entry of the University for the Creative Art’s open competition to design a mural.

Then cross over into Dane John Gardens for a short thank you speech, a presentation of prizes and free pizza for the first forty people to register and complete a flower.
