Open Space Strategy – consultation questions
You will be asked the following questions:
1. In what capacity are you responding?

The vision set out in the draft strategy is: to develop an interconnected network of diverse, high quality open spaces which meet the needs of local people and make a significant contribution to raising the quality of life for all residents and visitors to the Canterbury district. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this vision?
3. The draft strategy proposes three aims to help achieve the vision. To what extent do you agree or disagree these are the right aims?
4. The draft strategy proposes the following objectives to work towards its aims. To what extent do you agree or disagree these are the right objectives?
5. The draft strategy proposes the following priority actions for Canterbury. To what extent do you agree or disagree these are the right actions to focus on?
6. The draft strategy proposes the following priority actions for Herne Bay. To what extent do you agree or disagree these are the right actions to focus on?
7. The draft strategy proposes the following priority actions for Whitstable. To what extent do you agree or disagree these are the right actions to focus on?

11. The Open Space Strategy and Local Plan look to promote the establishment of endowments to support the management of open spaces within larger developers (over 300 homes). To what extent do you agree or disagree with this approach?
12. The Open Space Strategy and Local Plan also look to protect open space in larger developments through measures such as village green designations. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this approach?
