Experimental road closure – Guildhall Street, Canterbury

From 31 July, Guildhall Street will be closed to all traffic including pedal cycles at all times. This is to allow the street to be fully pedestrianised and used as an event space.

The council will be deciding on whether this should be made permanent in the future. 

If you wish to object to this proposal, please email transportation@canterbury.gov.uk stating the reasons for your objection. Alternatively, you may write to Transportation Team Leader, Canterbury City Council, Military Road, Canterbury, CT1 1YW by noon on 15 January 2021.
