Community Committee holds Southern Water Q and A session

Community Committee holds Southern Water Q and A session

A special meeting of the Community Committee on Monday 31 January will give residents the opportunity to ask questions of representatives of Southern Water.

The virtual meeting will start at 5.30pm. There are a variety of ways people can submit a question:

  • Ask one of the councillors on the committee to put a question for them (see the membership of the committee)
  • Provide a recorded statement of a maximum of two minutes by 5pm on Thursday 27 January. Council officers can help with this – email democracy@canterbury.gov.uk for details
  • Email a question by 12.30pm on Friday 28 January using the address above
  • If you are a member of a local group, ask a spokesperson to cover your question in one of the above ways

We are expecting a lot of interest in this meeting and cannot promise there will be enough time to ask every question or raise every issue. If any are not covered, we will seek a written response from Southern Water.

The meeting will be streamed live via the council's website.
