Dane John play area temporarily reopens

The play area in the Dane John Gardens has temporarily reopened and will be available for families to enjoy until the end of the Easter school holidays.

There will then be a further closure from the evening of Sunday 19 April for path resurfacing work. This is weather dependent so we cannot provide exact details of how long this will last.

If you are coming to use the play area over the next week, please be aware the public toilets at the Worthgate Place end of the Dane John are closed until Good Friday (3 April) due to work to the path around the toilets.

The nearest alternative toilets are a short distance away at Whitefriars.

The full reopening of the Dane John Gardens and the city wall will happen in late May.
