Demountable flood barriers to be deployed for Nailbourne flow

Our engineering team is continuing to monitor the Nailbourne and its progress, and as of this afternoon (Monday 18 December), the river has not yet reached Bishopsbourne.

Current Nailbourne road closures:

South Barham Road – Barham
The Causeway – Barham

We will start deploying our demountable flood barriers along South Barham Road tomorrow (Tuesday 19 December).

Our waste contractor Canenco is looking at what measures can be put in place to reduce disruption.
