Free park and ride this weekend
We’re very pleased to say that our park and ride service will be free of charge this coming weekend (Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June) as part of the Kent free bus weekend.
At Wincheap, buses run every eight minutes from 7am to 7.20pm on Saturdays and every 20 minutes from 9.45am to 5.30pm on Sundays.
And at New Dover Road, buses run every eight minutes from 7am to 7.10pm on Saturdays and every 20 minutes from 9.45am to 5pm on Sundays.
Among the features on our park and ride buses are free Wi-Fi, next stop information, improved seating and individual phone and laptop charging points.

We understand residents will be interested to know what is happening with the Sturry Road park and ride site following the result of the election in May.
The new Labour and Liberal Democrat administration recognises how important the service is to many people and is actively reviewing the position so it can deliver on the pre-election commitment to the opening of the site. More will follow on this in due course.
The free bus weekend is part of a countywide initiative, coordinated by Kent County Council and funded by the government, to get more people to use the bus again.
Bus travel will be completely free across Kent and Medway on both days, from the first bus of the day up until 8pm.
