Fun times ahead as revamped play areas open

Play areas in Hollow Lane/Birch Road and Chineham Way in Canterbury have reopened following total refurbishment projects.
Our £73,000 investment at Hollow Lane/Birch Road (pictured top and below) has seen it fully upgraded with all new play equipment for children aged up to 14 years old.

And at Chineham Way, another complete refurb costing £47,000 has been finished (pictured below), providing fresh equipment for children aged up to five years old.

Lord Mayor Cllr Jean Butcher and Lady Mayoress Di Baldock were all too keen to try out some of the equipment and were joined by council officers Rebecca Booth and Chris Paine to cut the ribbons.
