We want our swing back, please…

Right, we cannot believe we’re having to write this – but someone has stolen the basket swing and the chains that go with it at Reculver Country Park, and we want it back.

The swing was in place when our play area safety inspector checked last week but this week’s check discovered it had gone and all that was left was the frame.

Really? Has it come to this?

This swing cost us – via you, the taxpayer – money and provided great joy to local children. And when you steal from the council, you’re really stealing from every honest taxpayer.
