Terms and conditions: recycling survey prize draw

The prize draw can be entered between Monday 26 January until 5pm on Monday 9 March 2026 by completing Canterbury City Council’s recycling survey.

To enter the prize draw, you need to complete the survey, tick the box to consent to being entered into the prize draw, and enter your personal information so we can get in contact should you win.

All valid entries received by the closing date will be entered into the prize draw.

The survey can only be completed once per person, and therefore each survey participant can have a maximum of one entry each.

If you attempt to enter multiple times by completing the survey more than once, only one entry per person will be counted when selecting a winner.

One winner will be selected at random using the random number function in Microsoft Excel, with a number assigned to each entry.

The winner will be notified via email by Wednesday 18 March 2026.

The prize is £150 in grocery vouchers from a retailer chosen by the winner, which will be emailed or posted to the winner.

Contact information entered when completing the survey may be used to let entrants know about follow-up surveys the council conducts relating to waste and recycling. Personal details will not be shared with any third party.

The council will not share information relating to this competition on their social media channels, website or newsroom.

By entering the prize draw, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
